When can Brandon Flowers be acquired and what will the process be?

I too would like to know the procedures in terms of waivers, signing players not on a roster, etc..., since it will have to be done here because we're split into two espn leagues where the transactions will take place...
But in this case, Flowers was already owned at the time of his real-life waiver and now signing. So he's still on that team. I don't think we are planning on following real-life roster moves so if Flowers hadn't been owned, he would simply be treated like any other free agent not on a fantasy team's roster. He would first have entered the free agent draft (if we have one; I think we should) and then placed on waivers with all undrafted free agents eventually reverting to the FA pool if left unclaimed.

Nope, KC dropped him prior to the rookie draft starting. Verified not on his roster. So I don't think he's owned by anybody in the league at this moment.
Again, just looking for the procedure for not only him, but other viable free agents that aren't signed. Will it just be a free for all once the draft is over? Waiver process? Indeed it will be tough to manage just on ESPN with the two leagues.

Flowers was traded to Washington.
In any case, I'm sure we'll get the waivers/FA protocol set up soon...

I stand corrected. I remember KC trying to trade him to me the day he was released. I didn't realize he pulled that off with somebody else. My error! Can't wait to get the ESPN set up so it's a click to see the rosters and not having to go through 32 message boards to find a player.

I thought I remembered a trade going down. Used the search function for the first time. It found it right away. So that's the best way to go for info on here...but yes, espn far superior for roster org.

And Washington knew full well that Flowers was released. We were gonna wait until Flowers signed but he wanted to go through with it anyways.

Hate to bring this conversation up again but I see Flowers on the Chargers roster. Was he picked up by them after the draft?

Yes, in real life he was signed by the Chargers after the draft, and at the time this league formed he was still a Chief, hence he was controlled by the Chiefs in our league (until traded to the Redskins), so he is not eligible to be picked up by the Chargers on here.
Hope that clarifies,
Cheers,
Sam
